The Mustard Seed (Arsenal Street, Watertown, NY)
We all struggle to find good food choices, especially on the road. A special shout out to Scott and the folks at The Mustard Seed in Watertown. They provided some much needed insight and a plethora of healthy food choices during our recent trip to the North Country.

Eddie Wall Street Brown and the Blacklites raised the Roof at Kirk Park last night.
There are a whole lot of funky bands in Syracuse who perform at various venues during the summer, but we wonder if any of them have as much fun as The Blacklites. It’s hard to think of Jazz in the City on the Southside, whether at Dunk & Bright, Kirk Park, or any venue in the neighborhood without thinking of the Blacklites.
The group is celebrating over 40 years of musical brotherhood.

Jammin on the One and representing their part of town.

We met the Fugees when they came to Syracuse to promote their first album more than 20 years ago. They did an appearance at Cole’s Music World for 1490-AM WOLF. Somewhere we have a review of the album. Shout out to Kenny Dees for the introduction back in the day.

After a great outing on Monday night against Pawtucket, outlets are reporting Stephen Strasburg is close to returning to the Nationals. We will miss the excitement he brought to the team, the stadium and the city.
