In yesterday’s state qualifier for high school girls tennis, Grace DelPino (CBA) defeated Brooke Tutor (Baldwinsville) 6-2, 6-3.

Syquan Ralands powers to the hoop in Sunday’s game against Clinton Community College.

OCC Men’s Basketball freshman Syquan Ralands contributed big for the program’s two wins over the weekend. On Saturday he scored a team-high 24 points in a 69-63 win against North Country Community College (he also grabbed a team-high 15 rebounds). In Sunday’s 76-66  win against Clinton Community College he earned a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds.

Bishop Ludden junior Laura Patulski had 12 points and 5 rebounds on Sunday and was named to the Class B All Tournament Team for the Section III finals. Ludden defeated Bishop Grimes 56-26.

SAS shooting guard Symir Torrence went for 30 tonight (9 above his season average) as the Atoms won their first playoff game against Oswego.

SAS shooting guard Symir Torrence put Section III on notice as he went for 30 (9 above his season average) in the Atoms first playoff game against Oswego last night.

Torrence nearly amassed a triple-double (he had only 7 assists) during the 81-66 win.
