Brandon Ellis Dance Works

Tueday’s best show at the New York State Fair was easily Brandon Ellis Dance Works at the Pan African Village. The one-hour show featured work choreographed by Ellis and Dominique Dawkins that was fluid, innovative, energetic and modern, but with a certain level of sophisticated theater and art synonymous with the top dance companies. From the top (above) are the pieces we experienced: “Cosmic Love,” “Face of Medusa,” and “Beetle Juice.”  The group is scheduled to perform at the State Fair again on Thursday.
