SIF Media Report . . . During this COVID Era we were fortunate to add two podcasts to our media diet: Questlove Supreme and Eric Krasno’s Plus One. Krasno (pictured right) is a gifted guitarist and live music advocate. It was on his podcast we first heard about the Save Our Stages initiative. The episode we highly recommend is the Nigel Hall conversation, which chronicles their Lettuce history. Here are some photos from a Soulive performance featuring Krasno and Hall (pictured left) at the Westcott Theater back in the day. . . . #saveourstages #brothersinblue #soulive #royalfamily #nigelhall #songaid #lettuceisnotaveggie #lettuceisaband #plusone #localmusicscene #quantinefinds #waybackwednesday #newschoolfunkateers

Sounds Like Syracuse . . . In the winter it’s all about @waynestormwatch and the Weather Deck, but if you really want to know the weather prospects for a summer night of live music outdoors in @syracuse1848, you consult @larryluttinger and the Festival Forcast. He’s called scorchers at the Northeast Wine & Jazz Fest, and he’s outwitted late day deluges of rain on more than on occasion for Jazz in the City. Hey Larry, what’s your forecast for Thursday’s inaugural COVID Awareness Concert at the Syracuse Community Health Center? . . . #oldblueeyes #indrummerswetrust #localmusicscene #wearamask😷 #meteorologyisascience #musicisanart #covidawareness #takethetest #hearwhathappens #summervibes #weatherreport #soundslikesyracuse #cymaticfrequencies #lorenzoisourdrummer
