Unfortunately some repairs were being done at Schiller Park, so this year’s local World Cup soccer tournament was moved to Henninger High School. Here is a photo of a penalty shot to break a tie between Team Burundi and Team Somalia in the first round of the playoffs.

Nate Bourdeau scored a late second half goal and Syracuse FC downed Greater Binghamton FC 4-0 tonight. Jake Kohlbrenner scored three goals. The team goes on the road for their three games.

For Syracuse FC it was the final home game of the year; for Ft. Pitt it was the final road game of the year. In the end Ft. Pitt outlasted Syracuse 2-0. The two teams play again next Saturday.

Syracuse FC took 8 shots on goal last night against FC Buffalo. Two of them, one by Jacob Kohlbrenner (pictured) and another by Nate Bourdeau made it thru. After tonight's win, Syracuse will host Erie on Saturday.
