There are numerous benefits about Syracuse joining the ACC: the history, the tradition, the rivalry, and of course, the fans. Today at the NCAA East Regional Final open practice sessions, we had the pleasure of meeting a gracious lady known as the CSPAN Mom.¬†¬†Despite her recent celebrity status and invitation to the White House Correspondent’s Dinner, on this day inside the Carrier Dome, safe from the rain, Joy Woodhouse was just another fan who traveled here to have her team’s back.
She said she hoping for another miraculous run by N.C. State.

Former ‘Cuse bigman Rony Seikaly is now a house music DJ in Miami. He has program on Soundcloud and Sirius XM called “Sugar Free Radio,” and he will spin tomorrow as part of Miami Music Week.

As SU gets ready to enter the Atlantic Coast¬†Conference this season, we remember Edwin “Eddie”¬†Moss. Moss was a point guard for SU and ushered them into the Big East back in 1979.¬† He later became a newspaper publisher. He’s pictured here in 2005 (the same year he passed away). May he rest in peace.
