Former boxer Hal TNT Carroll, who came to Syracuse as a 16 year-old from Greenwood, SC and owner of Hal's Auto Body, received the Rosemary Award Syracuse's Juneteenth Celebration over the weekend.

Former boxer Hal “TNT” Carroll (right), who came to Syracuse as a 16 year-old light heavyweight from Greenwood, SC and owner of Hal’s Auto Body for three decades, received the Rosemary Award at Syracuse’s Juneteenth Celebration over the weekend. Carroll was known for his crushing body blows with his left hook. He won 31 fights and traveled to the US and Europe during his career.
