I took my family to the Delmarva Penninsula this week and saw a gallery featuring a great photographer named Kevin Fleming. I particularly enjoyed his photos of Delaware Beaches. Fleming is currently putting together a book with his son due out this fall.

Kike Arnal’s book In the Shadow of Power reminds us that every city has two sides. He captures the ironic juxtapositions that can be seen daily in our Nation’s capital.

Earlier this month I covered the Syracuse University VPA School of Design Senior Fashion show in New York City. The show was held at the JP Morgan Building on the 50th Floor above Park Avenue.
Following the show designer Henry Grethel was presented with the Icon of Style Award and he said orange has become the new black for Manhattanites with connections to Syracuse University and SU Athletics.

“If you spend time with your children outside your everyday environment, you’ll learn a lot more about them…“ –John C. Maxwell
During April I’ve been to several museums with my children. We visited the Delaware Natural History Museum, The Franklin Institute and last week in Puerto Rico we saw what was probably their favorite exhibition.
