Rochester’s Adam Walker steals second after he started off the 7th inning with a single.
Nearly 7,000 fans, including several Central New York school children, packed NBT Bank Stadium Wednesday morning for Education Day. The 8-2 Rochester win featured some fireworks during the 7th inning, including a Chiefs error (Solano) and a missed call at the plate.
The Chiefs will play Buffalo tomorrow.
Kennys Vargas and Adam Walker headed home during the 7th. Walker was called out.

The Syracuse Chiefs had their first Bark in the Park promotion on Saturday. The extra attendees quickly filled the stadium with a cacophonous racket that must have disturbed the Pawtucket Red Sox, who didn’t score a single run.
Living the Life of Rover: The next Bark in the Park is schedule for August.
