We thought we’d share our first glimpse of the Jazz at the Plaza series, coordinated by the Central New York Jazz Arts Foundation. The turn out on Wednesday was great, but we hope the Lemoyne College location doesn’t replace the usual Jazz in the City block parties.

Special thanks to journalist/social media expert Sherri Williams for her comprehensive coverage of “The General Body” and “Stand with Baltimore” movements. Her work (in various forms), as it relates to the #Black Lives Matter Movement, is deserving of an award from the Syracuse Press Club.
The Brown brothers of Tupelo, better known as Rae Sremmurd, served up some serious ear drama during their set at the 2015 Block Party show (Carrier Dome).
We heard he also made an appearance to sign bottles of his vodka brand at a North side liquor outlet on Saturday.
