Northeast Jazz & Wine Festival: Adjustment Periods

Northeast Jazz & Wine Festival 2015. Overall it was three days of Syracuse-style fun.
We have to give credit where credit is due.
Larry Luttinger and the Northeast Jazz & Wine Festival staff did a great job this year. Not only did they extend the festival a third day (to add Blues), but also literally weathered a thunderstorm, followed by sticky humidity, one cancelled performance, and another headliner who showed up injured.
But of course, the show must go on.
Overall we heard some great music and saw some memorable performances, including a tribute to Jeff Houston and fantastic Friday dance party with Atlas.
Hopefully, the Jazz in the City series that they produce in August won’t bring so many surprises.
New Orleans guitarist John Mooney was a great addition for the Sunday Blues showcase.
