The Chiefs are on a win streak and have defeated the Buffalo Bison for two straight games thanks to some active bats. Centerfielder Andrew Stevenson went 2-for-4 yesterday. He is shown here in the bottom of the third inning getting back to first after taking a lead. Syracuse won last night 2-1. In both games the winning run came courtesy of Irving Falu (who hit two home runs).

Gioia Gensini got into fitness to blow off steam when she was studying for the bar nearly 3 decades ago. Today she is a certified trainer at Metro Fitness. We caught up with her after one of her classes for Wellness Wednesday, which is held in Clinton Square.
Syracuse FC took 8 shots on goal last night against FC Buffalo. Two of them, one by Jacob Kohlbrenner (pictured), and another by Nate Bourdeau found the back of the net. After tonight’s win, Syracuse will host Erie on Saturday.

Signs of Victory: This week the yellow smoke and red checkered flag signaled victory for Syracuse FC. The team picked up the first win of the season by beating Dayton 1-0.
Syracuse FC’s Nate Bourdeau scored a goal in the first half of today’s game. It ended up being the difference in the 1-0 win against the Dayton Dynamo. It was the club’s first win. They lost to Dayton last week.
