Sen. Bernie Sanders drew thousands to a mid-day rally in Syracuse yesterday. He talked about restoring fiscal responsibility to Wall Street, income equality and said he is looking forward to a large voter turn-out next week’s New York primary.

On his birthday yesterday, Joe Driscoll (above) got to perform for about 5,000 people at the OnCenter. He also opened for Sen. Bernie Sanders, who was in town for a campaign stop. We found out Driscoll helped coordinate the campaign event. We knew he was a master of the live loop sample and the beatbox, we had know idea Driscoll was also an effective political organizer.
Actor Rosario Dawson gave a fiery, sophisticated, and informed speech before introducing Bernie Sanders in Syracuse today. Can a run for office be on the horizon, or at least a speaking slot during the Democratic Convention in Philly.
