Omer Keles gave a speech at City Hall for the celebration of Turkish heritage on Wednesday. The event was organized by Syracuse’s Turkish Cultural Center, which is located on Tracy Street.

Activist Frank Cetera led a group of a dozen or so activists on a march along the Connective Corridor (from Forman Park to Armory Square) to celebrate Earth Day this evening. The event was called the Procession of the Species Celebration and included costumes, music and speeches.
