Duke & The Cuse: Synergy
Monday, February 3rd, 2014After a great weekend of sports, particularly for Syracuse, we forget that before there was a rivalry between SU & Duke, there was collaboration. Coach Boeheim successfully worked with Coach K during the Olympics, and ESPN commentators such as Jay Bilas (Duke grad) worked with SU grads.
Bilas, speaking here during a forum at SU’s Newhouse School, takes time to indirectly show some love to SU’s journalism program.

Grimes was photographed here during an event with George Fraser at Syracuse University in 2005.

Tuesday, November 5th, 2013Here are some photos from last night’s open house for the Newhouse School’s M.I.N.D. Lab, which is located in the AXA Towers (ground floor). Special shout out to Danushka Bandara, grad student and science guy, who demystified the workings and practical applications for many of the center’s devices. Would love to see someone from this group do a TEDx series or similar symposium.

Ben Green
Coming Back Together X (Ten) featured a forum on social networking featuring various communications professionals. The panel was moderated by Ben Green, SU ’85 and dedicated to the memory of Lee Keitt ’76.
The discussion focused on mentoring, generosity, improvements in delivery systems and social media limitations (not 100% marketing, not 100% personal).
Below hear a comment by co-moderator Dr. Rick Wright.
