Le Moyne’s Tyquan Rolon (senior guard)

At some point tomorrow Le Moyne’s Tyquan Rolon and Bloomfield’s Keith Washington will be matched up against each other. These two left-handed, well really ambidextrous guards, will lead their respective teams in the NCAA Division II East Regional Final on Tuesday. Washington had 31 (including 7 three-pointers) to help his team defeat Merrimack College on Sunday.  Rolon had 12 points and four assists in Le Moyne’s win against The College of St. Rose.

In team sports, mano-o-mano is not the name of the game, but this should be fun to watch.

Week in Review

Sunday, February 25th, 2018

@onondagawbb sophomore @_sambritton (aka Amazon Prime, aka FedEx) has had the kind of college career most athletes dream about. Along with fellow sophomores @rachelscalisi20, @michaelawhiteman, and @shannnnnn11, she led the Lady Lazers to a 48-11 récord in two years. Last week Britton scored her 1000th point on her home floor. Last night, during the opening minutes of another home game against @cayugacc, she hit a layup and became the team’s all-time leading scorer. We were able to speak to Britton after the win. She talked about her accomplishments and gave some advice to her younger self. Britton’s epic season continues this Friday in a tourney match-up against @tompkinscortland. . . #samsheis #fedexbritton #doubledouble #amazonprime #recordsettingseason #alltimeleadingscorer #lazernation #sifconversations #sifsports #njcaa #msac #itaintover #impact #ballersofcny #outworkthework #growthjourney #fortheloveofthegame
