Chiefs centerfielder Andrew Stevenson
Syracuse Chiefs centerfielder Andrew Stevenson has been swinging the bat well lately. His first inning against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre went something like this: He singled; then stole second base and reached third on an error; then later scored on a sacrifice fly by Brandon Snyder. The Chiefs won the game, after a rain delay, 5-2.

The Chiefs are on a win streak and have defeated the Buffalo Bison for two straight games thanks to some active bats. Centerfielder Andrew Stevenson went 2-for-4 yesterday. He is shown here in the bottom of the third inning getting back to first after taking a lead. Syracuse won last night 2-1. In both games the winning run came courtesy of Irving Falu (who hit two home runs).
