Wheat Paste Mural (Art Rage Gallery) by Tonja Torgerson
This public art piece, located on the Hawley-Green neighborhood, is an homage to all things temporary. Torgerson’s work has also been displayed in NYC and Minneapolis. She said the wheat paste works last from a few weeks to a few months, depending on the weather. Locally we’ve seen Torgersons’s pieces in Little Italy and Midtown.

Recycle Band
A newly installed creation by Zeke Leonard that is located at Lipe Art Park brings to mind the days of Fat Albert’s Junk Yard Band. Leonard’s piece is called Rust O Phone.

Angelo Puccia’s Park Couch at Erie Boulevard and North McBride Street
Sculptor Angelo Puccia (above left) and his team came to Midtown yesterday and did some renovations on his welded metal public art piece called Park Couch. The couch was installed in 2006. Puccia also installed a piece located on East Genesee Street near Nottingham High School.
