The two self-professed comedy nerds talked about their roots in improvisation,seeing other possibilities for comedic actors beyond SNL, and the hidden blessing of being rejected by FX Network. The sitcom stars and co-creators were interviewed by University Union’s Alli Reich (not pictured).
X Ambassadors stopped through Syracuse earlier this week on their VHS tour. Next they will travel to England, Italy, and France before heading back to the East Coast for some more shows.

Actor Kenan Thompson came to Syracuse University for Parent’s Weekend. He talked about his career from Disney and Nickelodeon days to Good Burger, Fat Albert and his 13 year run with Saturday Night Live. Thompson is the longest tenured African American actor in Saturday Night Live’s history.
Earlier this week Thompson re-united with Kel Mitchell on the Tonight Show for the “Good Burger” sketch.

Fresh off a performance at the South by Southwest Festival (SXSW), the LA-based Gothic meets Grunge band, Io Echo played a short set for students at Syracuse University last night. The show was filled with pulsating rhythms and a rapid-fire projection/light show. Io Echo opened for Juke Box the Ghost.
Canadian artists’ K-OS and Drake, along with N.E.R.D. performed at Syracuse University’s Block Party Concert on Friday. Francis and the Lights opened. The sold-out show brought over 10, 000 people to the Carrier Dome.
