Baseball 2004

The 2004 season was  disappointing for the Skychiefs, but not without some bright spots. The Club, which is the Triple-A affiliate for the Toronoto BlueJays, finished in last place with a record of 66-78.

It was truly a memorable summer for third baseman Glenn Williams, who posted career numbers in a few categories. Williams (pictured above) was also selected for the Triple-A All-Star game, won a Silver medal as a player for Austrailia's National team. In addition, Williams was named Skychief MVP for 2004.

And for a few games in July Blue Jays slugger Carlos Delgado played with the team while he was on a rehab assignment.

Some of these photographs were published on the Soul of Syracuse (dot-com) site.
