Oct. 19--Syracuse University students, staff, and members of the community looked on in disbelief, some in anger, as offensive and derogatory language from HillTV's "Over the Hill" was shown during a meeting at the Schine Student Center tonight. Representatives for HillTV tried unsuccessfully to apologize for the segments and the offensive content. Some students also expressed displeasure that their student fees were being used to fund a show that was insensitive to African-Americans, women and homosexuals.
