Feb. 13-Confessions of a former N-word Junkie-Comedian Paul Mooney visited Syracuse University last night and poked fun at everything from President Bush and high gas prices to Michael Jackson, Anna Nichole Smith and Wesley Snipes. He also said he the country should forgive actor Michael Richards for his recent tirade on stage and that Dave Chapelle's exodus from his own Comedy Central show was genius. "They are calling him all the time now, he's on the A-list," Mooney said. As for his only transformation and recent decision not discontinue use of the N-word in his act, he had this to say: "I said I was going to stop using the word. It was my choice and one person can change history." Mooney became famous as the muse and writer for comedic legend Richard Pryor.
