March 29--Ghana at 50--Sundiata Salaam, a Syracuse University graduate student, fields a question during a panel discussion about the current generation and it's role in the Pan-Africanist Movement. The panel was part of a symposium commemorating the 50th anniversary of Ghanaian Independence held at the Community Folk Art Gallery on Thursday. Salaam was joined on the panel by professors Horace Campbell and Paula Johnson of Syracuse University and Michael West of Binghamton University.
