1 (SYRACUSE)--SAVIORS' DAY 2004. At the OnCenter yesterday the
Minister Mark Muhammad and the Nation of Islam hosted Saviors
Day 2004. The satellite simulcast of a speech by the Hon. Louis
Farrakhan included the historical significance of topics such as
the slave trade, weapons of mass destruction, Mel Gibson's new
film Passion, Michael Jackson and the recent turmoil in
Haiti. "You can never escape the condition of the masses of
your people," Farrakhan said, as he spoke to over groups
gathered in 100 locations across the globe on the final day of
Black History Month.
