6 (SYRACUSE)--The top four high school basketball players in the
Central New York Region brought their teams to Manley Field
House last night for the sectional playoffs. With thousands on
hand to watch and a euphoric, college-like atmosphere, the two
games featured heroic performances and non-stop action.
For game one Henniger High, behind 37 points by Andray Blatche,
defeated Utica Proctor 75-60, despite 31 points for Proctor's
Josh Wright (a SU Recruit). In the second game Greg Paulus' CBA
squad outlasted Bishop Ludden and Terry Smith 66-62.
