(Syracuse)--April 8--Former NBA center Darryl Dawkins (right), the first player to go from high school to the NBA, talks with a crowd at the OnaJava Cafe last night. Dawkins, aka Chocolate Thunder, discussed the future of the NBA, the influence of his family, and vividly described his dunking style. In the background a television screen shows the first backboard he shattered during an NBA game.
