Tribute to August Wilson

Actors,
educators, directors, dancers, students and members of the
Syracuse University community gathered for a tribute to
Pulitzer-winning playwright August Wilson, who passed away a few months
ago.
In
the words of one of the speakers, Kyle Bass, "August
Wilson gave us, back to us."
The
evening ended with an announcement by Bill Rowland, Director
of the Paul Robeson Performing Arts Company, announcing the
creation/planning for an August Wilson Festival here in
Syracuse.
August
Wilson
