(WASHINGTON,DC) April 16--Calling the confirmation of Paul Wolfowitz as World Bank President a "fitting symbol of imperial power," the DC group Mobilization of Global Justice staged a peaceful protest today outside the World Bank Headquarters. Speakers and protesters asked for more relief for poor nations. The World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) are holding their spring meetings this weekend.
